Looking to be inspired.

I am looking to be inspired. It is so hard to stay focus when the days have been cold and glum. I go to art shows but I noticed that it is hard to find good photography here in Chicago. I am a painter, but I love photography. We have a small photography museum at Columbia College. It is so sad to see that photography is becoming extinct here. So many colors, forms, and lighting. It is just so sad. Is it just me or is it just too conservative here in Chicago?
